Pozdrav narode; Evo Air Prishtina je pocela se servisom (druga kompanija poslje Kosovan airlines) da pocne letove... a AB... vala sramota ! Nova avijo kompanija Air Prishtina je iznamila Airbus A320 tipa od Swiss Co. specialist JetClub na wet-lease. I pocei su sa destinacijma iz pristine prima geneva i zurich. Ovo je drugo avijo kompanija za kosovo poslje air kosovo koji su iznamili jednog tipa Boeing 737-700 od Hamburg Airlines. Ima ko jos info. zelim da cujem. Pozdrav

Kosova Airlines je samo fiktivna kompanija, tj. farba na avionu. U osnovi, "kompanija" je samo "deo" (cak je i to uslovno receno) Hamburg Internationala. Pre dve godine je UNMIK raspisao konkurs za osnivanje kosovske "kompanije" cije bi operacije u potpunosti obavljala maticna kompanija dok bi se profit delio sa UNMIK-om (koji trenutno upravlja kosmetskim vazdusnim prostorom) i privremenom Vladom u Pristini. Na konkurs su se, pored Hamburg Internationala, prijavili jos Adria, MALEV i Jat (koji se prijavio vise nego simbolicno). Adria se kasnije zestoko bunila pod optuzbom da je konkurs bio namesten da nemci pobede sto je verovatno i tacno jer je tada na celu UNMIK-a bio Nemac.
Pre nekoliko godina takodje je postojala i kompanija Air Kosova koja je letela sa dva Fokkera 50 ali su kasnije propali.

hehehe... znaci nije fiktivna... samo se djeli profit? Bez obzira mora se od negdje poceti! I ako treba ovako nekaim je sretno. I onako nemaju svoju nacijonalnu avijo kompaniju i cini mi se da je dobra prilika da od negdje pokrenu... pa onda ko zna mozda ce postat kao jedno djelna kompanija. Pozdrav

Mala ispravka UMNIK ne upravlja vazdusnim prostorom iznad Kosova nego samo jednim dijelom (Lower), buduci da im rezolucija UN nije dala ta prava. To sto se neke stvari rade iako za to ne postoji pravna osnova to je drugo pitanje.

UNMIK and Kosovar Government have decided back in 2003 that it was a better idea to "sell" the right of the national carrier to a well-established airline and get the VAT (Value Added Tax or 15% of the value of the air ticket) than invest their own money into establishing a new airline with no-so-great aircrafts and shoulder the entire cost of advertising. It makes perfect sense. The Kosovar Government did not spent a single cent, but in return it receives millions of Euros in VAT revenue. Does it really matter if the airline is a "fiction" or not? "It is the economy, stupid!" - as the American would say.
If there is enough demand, Hamburg International offers up to 6 super modern Boeing aircrafts, the flights are safe, the Kosova Airlines appleals to Kosovars who are more than happy to pay VAT to Kosova Government rather than Switzerland or Germary. Plus, Hamburg International (20 per cent of which is owned by Eurokoha) takes care of the advertisements.
And, of course, one day if the business goes well the airlines will become fully independent of Hamburg International. The Government takes no rists, no responsibility, only pure cash!
As far as Air Prishtina is concerned, just the fact that the Albanian eagle with swords is flying the skies of Europe and further it's an achievement in its own right.
