Hi everyone,
I've been working as a bush pilot in Canada for eight years. I love my country but I've been thinking about exploring other places around the world. I'm particularily interested in working in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I'm wondering what the chances are of an english speaking Canadian pilot finding work. Any advice you have, either positive or negative, would be appreciated. I'm afraid I don't know anything about your aviation culture and I'm curious to know what the flying is like in your country. As well, I was wondering if anybody knows what is involved in changing a mulit-engine instrument rating to the Bosnia and Herzegovina equivalent.

Since 90% of airlines require you to speak English and some other if possible, I don't think it would be a problem much. Now, you would probably have to know Bosnian too, just so you can talk to other workers and the passengers. Also, pay would maybe suck since Air Bosnia is facing some money problems right now I think.

Thank you for the information T9. I will definitely send Air Bosnia my resume. As for the pay, 99% of Canadians think that being a pilot means you make lots of money. The remaining 1% are pilots.
